Gotham is one of the most prolific production entities in the entertainment business. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and The Gotham Group have been producers on such hits The Maze Runner franchise,Kodachrome with Jason Sudeikis, Elizabeth Olsen, and Ed Harris, and the beloved fantasy adventure, The Spiderwick Chronicles. Current projects include The Big Game, which chronicles the gob-smacking financial phenomenon that is daily fantasy sports, and Train Man, directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick), about the New Yorker who became notorious for stealing and driving subway trains illegally. Gotham has also optioned several 2018 bestsellers including Janelle Brown’s critically acclaimed suspense thriller Watch Me Disappear and Robyn Harding’s The Party. On the television side, Gotham has Star Trek’s Zachary Quinto set to star in and executive produce Biopunk and is developing Randi Zuckerberg’s New York Times bestselling book Dot Complicated: Untangling Our Wired Lives as a series.
Gotham also recently optioned film rights to three highly prized books: Ruth Ware’s The Lying Game, which debuted at number three on the New York Times bestseller list and is the August pick for Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club; Janelle Brown’s critically acclaimed suspense thriller Watch Me Disappear, and Robyn Harding’s bestseller The Party. Gotham is also producing Ruth Ware’s The Woman in Cabin 10 horror novels.
