Highlighting their contributions, the feature film Deliver Me from Nowhere, written and directed by Scott Cooper (known for Crazy Heart), chronicles the creation of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska album. This film premiered at prestigious festivals such as Telluride, the New York Film Festival, and AFI, before its worldwide theatrical release in October by 20th Century Studios. Additional notable projects include the Emmy®-nominated series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which was nominated for the 2025 Producers Guild of America (PGA) Award for Outstanding Children’s Program; the Apple TV+ and Skydance Animation series The Search for WondLa; the limited series Washington Black on Hulu; the billion-dollar Maze Runner film franchise; and the Stargirl franchise for Disney+, based on Jerry Spinelli’s acclaimed YA novels.

The Gotham Group played a key role in the development of Clint Eastwood’s Juror No. 2, the dystopian thriller By All at Warner Bros. written and produced in partnership with Juel Taylor and Tony Rettenmeier and directed by Steve Caple Jr., and produced The Last Days of John Allen Chau, with a script by Ben Ripley and direction by Justin Lin through his Perfect Storm Entertainment which premiered at Sundance in 2025. Goldsmith-Vein also serves as an Executive Producer on Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming sequel to the Social Network entitled Goliath for Sony Pictures.

In the animation sector, The Gotham Group is recognized for developing and producing the Netflix feature film Wendell & Wild, directed by Jordan Peele and Henry Selick, which garnered a Critics’ Choice Award nomination and won AAFCA and NAACP awards. Other animation credits include the acclaimed The Spiderwick Chronicles and the Emmy®-nominated series Creature Comforts, in collaboration with Aardman Animations.

The Gotham Group represents many leading writers, directors, and producers in the industry, holding more source material from publishers and comic companies than any other entity in Hollywood. Its client roster includes Dark Horse Entertainment, Simon & Schuster (Children’s and Young Adult libraries), Gallery/Scout Books, Bloomsbury/Walker (U.S. Children’s libraries), Marshall Cavendish, Abrams, and Com.x, and Quirk Books.
